As part of NNSA's commitment to being a responsible steward of tax dollars, the National Nuclear Security Administration created the Supply Chain Management Center in 2006 and selected Honeywell FM&T, operator of the Kansas City National Security Campus, as the lead contractor for managing the initiative.
Today, the SCMC collaborates with 26 Department of Energy sites throughout the United States. The SCMC and contractor sites continue leveraging their combined spend providing savings to the customer year over year.
